Being a traveler versus a tourist are two very different things. A tourist sees a place at its surface while a traveler digs deeper to really understand what is going on in a culture.

My passion for being a traveler has become more of an addiction. I have an inability to stay in one place for an extending period of time. Maybe this was instilled in me at a young age or maybe it is because of all my recent travelling. When I was younger I moved around a few times then I went to a new place for college and plan on doing the same after college. For a semester in college I got the opportunity to travel it twelve different countries in the matter of 106 days. My need for moving around was constantly being fulfilled, every week I was in a new place. I was able to explore countries and myself, I learned so much about myself. The bouncing around nature that is now part of me is the theme I am displaying in my photo journal.

For the rest of my life I will be moving around like this, I will be a traveler.
