Spoons
Line. Lines are all over this photograph, the fence is made of line. The bold black lines of the fence make for a very linear piece.
Shape. The shape of the Sykes building downtown is very unique. It is a round building making for an interesting contrast when looking downtown. The cylindrical building flows in a continuous pattern. The windows light up the building in a random pattern contrasting the uniform shape.
Color. The color that illuminates the Glazer’s Children’s Museum downtown brings a pop of color against the gray scale downtown. The bright pinks and reds against the white lights and white building bring color to a dark downtown scene.
Space. The pool area has many things layer on to it to make a proper space. The primary layer is the pool and decking around the soft blue pool. Next is the chairs, cabanas, and banners; these add some depth. And lastly the palm trees in the background and fore ground. So when this comes all together it becomes a space versus when they are all separate it would just be bizarre.

Texture. The variation in the bricks leave a texture in your mind you can almost feel. The dark areas and lighter areas only further highlight the change in textures across the surface.

Emphasis. The bridge is emphasized by not only being the tallest object of its surrounding but also the blue light emphasizing its height.
Balance. The Crew Sticks are all balanced. They are equal in height although they are on a slight incline. The four structures stand alone on the incline providing a sense of balance and strength in the empty area
Harmony. The palm trees and yellow cabanas are all equally spaced apart in perfect harmony. The repeated triangular tops and the repeated equal spacing between the palm trees add a sense of balance and harmony to the area behind the pool.
Variety. The statue's use of many different and contradictory objects causes the eye to move throughout the sculpture. The added uses of the water flowing out of the statue causes your eye move through the rest of the picture and embrace the photo in its entirety.
Movement. The ripples caused by the swimmers put a great emphasis on movement and the free flowing forms it creates.
Proportion - From a straight perspective the placement of the statue fits in perfectly with the middle entrance, which in turn is directly proportional to the other entrances.
Rhythm. The three arch ways over the entrances of plant hall are rather eye catching, causing a sense of repeating arrangements that brings about the notion of rhythm.
Unity- The arrangement of ducks sleeping in a form of huddle does well to highlight a great sense of unity between the animals.

4 Black Squares

Triangle, Circle, Square

Circles can be found in a few places on this drawing as well as triangles. Squares are at the base of the blender and where the base meet the glass pitcher. The triangles are in the fruit and power switch, where the circles are around the control panel and at the top of the blender.

"Flowers"
Stevie Ruzich and Megan Kiley
Last week my boyfriend and I were having a difficult time, he was constantly picking bros over hoes. I finally told him enough was enough and broke up with him. I got more and more mad as I waited for a response to my text message, but I never heard back. Within an hour, I heard a knock at my door. I wiped the running mascara off my face and looked through the peep hole, this is what I saw.

Process

We were brainstorming ideas of what to do and came up with the idea of death. Want to play off death and how smoking kills but not directly implied, but the person smoking loses and dies.

The Last Move

We have two characters sitting at a table under the veranda. Mike is smoking a cigarette and slowly puffing on it. Mike is wearing dark colored clothes and is in obvious pain. In between each puff he coughs and wheezes. Sitting across the table is Susan. Susan is dressed in bright color clothes and munching down on gum. She is perky and excited to be sitting at the table. In the middle of the table is a set of dominos. Susan places a domino on the bored and says “Beat that!” Mike responds “Easy.” and places another one down. Susan looks at him. She places another one down on Mikes side of the table. Susan, “You have been blocked.” Mike looks up at her and smiles. He has realized he has lost the game. Mike coughs a lot more as he finished his cigarette. He throws it on the floor.
